Today is the day: ShakeOut!

It’s time to put your plans for your ShakeOut drill into action: Drop, Cover, and Hold On!

You can still take advantage of today’s other earthquake preparedness activities, too. Just visit your state or region’s webpage at ShakeOut.org and checkout what’s listed under News & Events. For example:

  • In California, you can tune in to The Great “Online” California ShakeOut!, a YouTube Live event today from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. PT—with earthquake drills, trivia and prizes, speeches from officials, educational presentations/videos, and a MyShake app demonstration.
